Come from behind the desk interact with the kids sit at their desk go to all corners of the class room. If possible teach a class out side the class room in the yard or take a tour around the school it's self. Do things out of the ordinary.

Update your teaching by mixing it to current stuff. My friend teaches litterature and short stories so she is having her class watch the halloween episode from the Simpsons where they did the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. She is also planning on teaching the debates techniques over questions such as Ice cream, which is the best: soft or hard? This makes the teaching fun and then the students will apply this to more serious questions such as abortion...
Hope this helps!

for one thing, make your discussions lively I have a teacher that explains the daily lessons to us as if talking to one of her girl friends, lol just fun to listen even if IT is about history. She gives us homework that doesn't need too much thinking, Like draw a pic of how you would picture an amazon women, then she would comment our pics in a funny way infront of the class.
And ask some question that can only be answered by personal bias, its a chance to make your students feel comfortable and open to you

To teach in a fun way ,First you have to enjoy what you are doing or teaching . Let your student look like your friend with some border line too.Secondly ,wear a smile all the time .Keep your problems in your house before setting out to teach.Krack jokes in repect of what you are teaching your students.Take them serious .let your student know you are open to their questions. And also willing to help out where you can .Then you will find that your students are not just having fun ,they seriosly learning too.Hope it helps .I was once a student.

You shouldn't, you should. There is going to be more than one opinion about it. You SHOULD in some places... You SHOULDN'T in others... you should let the kids vote. they know what they want. They should know a little bit of good things... but if they are a little unrealistic, then dont! lol .... But they might like to have a say.

Have a sense of humor and enjoy the job. Helps if you like kids and if you are a bit creative too.

i like it and most of my class like it when the teacher talks about her own experiences, and also adds a few non fictious stories in it for example in citizenship, talking about someones case, and in biology, about someone suffering that type of illness - anything like that makes my lessong interesting.
