I'm just guessing, but I'd say that bronchial carcinoma involves primarily (or only) the bronchioles, while lung carcinoma involves the other tissue of the lungs.

The oxygen in the air is passed from the tiny tubes in your lungs called bronchials, into your blood and is shipped around your body.

based on that I'd say there is no difference. You have cancer in that area. I guess it would be like saying you have a lesion on your head, but it could also be said you have one on your nose too, if it were there. Its true you have it on your head however more specifically its on your nose....get it..?
