Red Skelton was by far the funniest of all time! He was so talented. He did stand up comedy, pantomines, skits and invented his own characters. He could stand onstage and comb his hair for 3 minutes and make it hilarious!
Many do not know that he was also an accomplished painter and authored several children's books.

I don't know about ever but......
Steve Martin in Roxanne.
He has a huge nose, and I do mean huge.
In a bar one night he was about to be dumped on by some red- neck so got in first to tell a certain number (was it 20) of nose jokes. The old "poke fun at myself before anyone else can" approach.
As he reeled off each joke the patrons all counted him on.
Don't remember a single one of the jokes though but the scene was hilarious.
Also featured the lovely Daryl Hannah as the object of his desire. Worth a watch.

Bill Cosby, who is funny not only for what he says but how he says it.
I also like Kevin James, Patton Oswalt, Frank Calliendo, and Ron White, just to name a few. Bob and Tom's radio show also showcases and promotes a lot of funny, funny people.

I PREFER CLEAN HUMOR WHICH IS RARE IN THE COMEDIC WORLD. BUT I LOVE MARK LOWERY. HE IS A CHRISTIAN COMEDIAN. I LIKED HIS PART WHERE HE WAS ASKING AT A CONCERT HOW MANY BAPTIST IN THE HOUSE? THEN MAKE A COMMENT AND THEN ASK ABOUT HOW MANY CHARASMATICS? SO FORTH AND SO ON. HILAROUS!!!!
CHONDA PIERCE IS ANOTHER GREAT CHRISTIAN COMEDIAN. I THINK THE FUNNIEST STORIES SHE TELLS ARE REAL LIFE THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO HER.

maybe not funniest. Steven Wright cracks me up. He talked once about his girlfriend using wite-out for nail polish. He liked to sneak up while she was sleeping and write misspelled words on her nails.

Robin willaims, when he played on "MORK" when he had the EGG from the fridge had thought it was one of his people, laughed so hard, coulda used drpends that day, wish I knew where to see it again
