Are we scared of our mummies?

As if so what is the key reason for this anxiety or trepidation?

i was never scared of my mommy. she was a very quiet and tranquil woman. she commanded a very peaceful respect from her children and from others. although she was quiet in nature, when she spoke, i and my sisters listened to her. she was not a person to fear.

i was never scared of my mum
i had an enormous respect for her, which increased as i/she got older
