I have this friend that i was friends with for 3 years, then all of the sudden last year, she started to ignore me so i emailed her and asked if we could still be friends, she said "i guess." so i told her that i didn't want to be friends with someone who was gonna think they were better than me cause shes not. and she said "i am better than you" i really liked her when we were friends...we would do everything together. Why is she acting this way, has she changed because of the ppl she hangs out with?

In life people change and unfortunately some change for the worst..I wouldn't dwell on the friendship you used to have with her. Anyone who says they are better than you, are not! Go on with your life and find more friends that actually talk and treat you like one!

When you are thinking about your friend and you are feeling bad try and remember that it's her problem not yours. No one is better than anyone just different. Your aquaintance (you don't want this girl for a friend) has obv not realized this detail yet. So, don't let this persons insecurities and hang-ups bring you down. A good way to do that would be to minimize contact with her. Be polite if you do run in to her but don't go out of your way to contact her. In your life surround yourself with people who are positive about themselves and about you.

I hate to hear that. I lost a friend due to the fact that she was jealous of me. The thing is she was not your friend from the first get go. Even though she had started hanging with a new group of friends, she should not change her feeling for you as a friend either.

I guess you could always ask her. Maybe you said or did something to offend her. Maybe she feels you two are just not compatible anymore for some reason. Maybe she's just going through a phase. In that case, she'll come back eventually. Don't pressure her, though. You can't force these things.

She wasn't your friend from the start. Some people are associates. Look deep the next time and listen for a true friend. They are hard to find today.

She have low self esteem issue. I know this because i have a friend act like her...at first i was quite hurt, later on i know she was suffering on LSE. She thought she is superior to you so she can play hard to get and ignore you.. Pity her and get away from her fasttt..

do you really want someone like that as your friend? i do not think so. what, she thinks she's so cool that she needs to be a ***** whith you. i do not agree. that is not a friend. one day she will be coming back to you in tears, beggin you to be her friend again, cause her new friends will dump her as she has dumped you. karma my dear. you look like you are a good person, do not let that get to you. xxx
