Gift Cards are nice. Maybe get him an I-tunes gift card. You could also get him a new video game, but let him chose whiich one unless it is not appropriate. Teens generally prefer to chose their own stuff.

As a loner, nothing beats being left alone...
but I doubt he's like that. To be honest, he is your son, you know. I say that because, of course, I don't know him and I can't judge want he'd want, and even though I'm a teenager, I have different intrests and enjoyments than most (one already afore implied)...

well if he was 16 then id look in to getting him a cool car.i dont meen a new car but one that atleast looks good.if a car doesent work for you then maybe a x-box or something.maybe cash,i always love cash for my b-day.
