I think D is 500. If so then
1000 + 500 + 100 + 100 + 10 = 1710.

I'm thinking 1710, but my Roman Numerals are a wee bit rusty.
It took me a minute in that Hercules cartoon/movie a few years back to get the joke when the little kid ran by shouting "Call IXII! Call IXII!"
