i've got 3 best friends and all of them listen the music i hate. that's not a problem but today me and one of them had a fight because of music. i insulted the music he likes really bad and with that i insulted him. i know it sounds stupid but it's true. now he is mad at me and he hates me. i really care about him. what should i do?

At 1st, u shouldn't b bugging him. N after the whole day, whenever u get close 2 him, just say him that, u r very sorry n u bought 1 of the music CD. N after that try try 2 make him smile.

I know it sounds harsh, but you are going to have friends come and go all your life. Or something as trivial as music tastes, that's not much of a friendship if that jeopardizes it. Consider this: If they hated your music, would they tell you? Would you change it for them? And I have to ask - is this Rap music? My guess is it's not Classical or Jazz. The fact that a lot of garbage makes the airwaves and automatically becomes popular is a testament to our society being sheep that follow the crowd, even if it leads over a cliff.
Give it a cooling off period. I bet it will be business as usual in no time. This does not sound like a big deal.
