I know a lot you guys won’t agree with this, but this has been on my mind for a while now and I would expect mature and respectful answers.

Michael Jackson: Once a part of the biggest groups of Motown and know as the king of pop. Yet a two child molestation accusations ruined him. He’s best know for that, and his “Bleached skin” (Get real, there’s not that much bleach in the world that could’ve did that as black as he was). But why is that so important. Should you judge Michael for his music and his crazy behavior? You try being in show business since age 5 and see how sane you are. About the molestation case, shouldn’t you blame the money hungry parent for letting him spend the night, knowing full well of his previous accusations? He’d already paid off one case (Big mistake). Since the jury found him not guilty, he’s still getting a bad rap from what I’d like to call haters. Who knows if he did it or not? Were we there? Were we in his room?

Janet Jackson: She took control and did it well. She was known as the sane Jackson, that is until the super bowl. They wouldn’t play her videos and a lot of radio stations didn’t play her records, which made her last album be viewed as her weakest with the publicity surrounded this, although it sold really well. Janet and Justin said that is was a mistake. Justin got off after he apologized, in my eyes, with no scares (or not as bad as Janet’s was). Janet? She apologized and she continues to be tormented over a boob with a ring in it. FOR WHAT?!!! There are worse things on T.V than that and it gets looked over all the time. The Red Hot Chili Peepers did a show in tube socks and didn’t get this kind off treatment. She said it was mistake. Can’t we leave it at that? She said she was sorry.

So again, the question is at the top and yellow. Answer maturely and respectfully, even if you don’t agree.

Okay. But then I'll have to dislike everything Michael did after Off the Wall, anyway. (Janet, well, I don't even KNOW anything but Rhythm Nation. Which DOES kick.)

But, I have to say, the Chili "Peepers" didn't perform at a FAMILY VENUE in tube socks. I was actually watching the Superbowl (91 MILLION viewers) with my two young daughters when the "wardrobe malfunction" occurred. Then I had to explain what had happened and why she was showing herself when I'd always taught them NOT to show themselves and why was that man taking off that lady's clothes, and.... THAT is why Janet got bombed, sweetheart. And she more than Justin because it was her boob, not his b*lls.

And be careful with your "parent's fault the child got molested" rationale. That smacks of "it's the girl's fault she got raped." Although I can see that a girl who is dressed like an utter prostitute is rather inviting a certain type of behavior, I sincerely doubt that ANY of those parents dressed their children thinking, oh, yay, you might get molested by a superstar today, you lucky little bugger!

In addition, I have always maintained that we don't KNOW that Michael molested children. Does it look bad for him? Sure. Do I think he probably did? Well, YAH. But we, the public, do not KNOW. Only God, Michael, and some children know for SURE.

Honestly, though, you are spending WAY too much energy on this, worrying about what other people think about other people. I think most of the world has, like me, just kind of moved on. I don't think most of us give a darn, anymore. I don't. I won't be buying their albums... but then, I wasn't buying them before, either.

Furthermore, I expect my mature and open-minded reaction to this to be brought to the attention of my past boss, who fired me because he didn't like what a customer said about me. Since it should be my job performance, not what the customer said about my snarky attitude, on which his opinion, and therefore my livelihood, should be based. Right?

I think they are both creative artists, among the very best. Nothing or nobody could do what Michael did in the 80's.

I do think his tremendous success stifled his creativity somewhat because he thought the next ones should be even better, and that was impossible.

I think he has a few loose screws because of the cruelty of his parents when he was growing up. But I just don't think he is stupid enough to do what he was accused of doing. He is a very astute businessman and also very intelligent which he is not given credit for.

I don't think what happened with Janet was a big deal. If the media had not played it up so heavily most people would not have given it a second thought.

I nonetheless have faith in Revolution, the place listeners around the international will turn their backs to sought after track and want to hearken to easily previous track, as a splash of understanding that there are not any actual artits those days and that the actual musicians lie on the previous. So, industry will do away with all this trash from the industry and individuals around the international will breathe high quality via their ears and choose purely the superb from the previous. it incredibly is my appropriate subtle international :D I actual have a dream! the priority is: industry isn't in touch approximately high quality anymore. their activity is merchandising each and all the time. For them to sell the following day, the objective audience could be bored with what they offered at present. that's a appropriate formula: people get drained very quickly of what's undesirable, so as that they are going to pass after a sparkling stuff (as undesirable by way of fact the 1st one) .

Michael Jackson is unbelievably talented. No question about it. However, a child molester is the scum of the earth and I have a hard time looking beyond that.
I have never been a fan of Janet Jackson but her 'faux paus' at the Superbowl was just cheesy is all. No big thing.

I thought Janet was one of the most talented singers ever...I loved her music and her videos and her choreography...and her concerts were on point....but after the velvet rope album...her music quality went downhill. As for Michael....I liked thriller and off the wall...thats pretty much it.

i think they are both great musicians, and i used to love Micheal when i was a kid. but he is weird, i dnt believe he molested any children but he has to stop trying to get attention. if u look back Micheal has always tried to get attention whether it was bad or good. and its not just his skin, he wears thick eyeliner and red lipstick and what looks like fake eyelashes. but i guess u cant blame him, hes been in showbiz hes whole life, its bound to mess with ur head.
