Please help! I have a research on color palettes of makeup for Filipino women and I know that there are "in between" colors of the three colors mentioned. Please help, I've researched in the net but i've gotten so many infos that i can't seem to get the exact answers...

Anyone can answer this question :)

Those three that i've mentioned are the types of Filipino women in the Philippines; and though each of them have different features, my main concern is their skin colors. Are there anymore categories than "mestizo", "morena", and "chinita"? What about those with much darker complexion like Wilma Doesnt's and Bubble Gang's Myka? They don't seem to fall under the morena type. To which category do they belong?

Hmmm... you know your question is difficult to answer. I'm a Filipina and I can't answer it. lols I think it is because we have diverse skin colors coming from so many sources so its difficult to categorize the "in betweens". Wilma Doesn't and Myka both have Black American father so their skin is medium black. But we do have natives who have the same skin color. Some can be found in Zambales, thus they are called "Negritos in Zambales."

I would consider my skin color "in between" coz I cannot say I am chinita coz I have darker skin than a Chinese and I can't say I am morena coz my skin color is lighter than a morena... hayyy... so I would say that maybe you can categorize it using the following:

mestiza
medium mestiza
chinita
medium chinita
morena
medium morena - I fall in this category
black
medium black - Wilma Doesn't, Myka and Jaya (Singer)

Hope this helps. Goodluck!

Thats a hard one. Im a filipino men and all I can say to you is there is no standard color. You can see filipinos are mixed blood, it is being colonies by spain, americans, japanese, and ... If you ask me, there are those whose skin is white, some brown, some darker, there is no specific color. Just continue your research youll find the answer some how.

Skin color is hard to determine on people... Sometimes your facial structure and eye shape come into play for color palettes for makeup... I don't think skin color should be the ONLY factor in your research...
