Enigma means mystery or something that is difficult to understand. I could also be referring to the code machine that the nazis used during world war II to send secret messages

A mystery, unsolvable puzzle. It was also the name given to the decoding machine that genius Alan Turing worked on at Bletchley Park that interpreted German coded messages, the forerunner of systems now used in computers. What a shame about that man.
