Did you not cover basic genetics in school? I'll explain; In humans gender is determined by the sex chromosomes. In women they are XX and in men XY. Every women produces eggs, all of which have on X chromosome. In contrast the sperm cells of men have a 50/50 division of X and Y chromosomes. So if an egg is fertilized by an X sperm it will be girl (XX) by a Y sperm a boy (XY).

The way the gametes (sex cells) are produced is by a from of cell division called meiosis. Most cells have two of each chromosome (e.g. two chromosome 1's; 1 from dad and one from mum) When cells undergo meiosis they only possess one of each chromosome so sperm cells can only have one sex chromosome which must be either X or Y. and eggs can only have an X chromosome.

By the way the way the ratio is roughly equal, but the laws of probability are such that it is continuously changing. In general women tend to live longer than men, but more men survive infant hood. (not are born)

It's just the laws of probability. You can consider the laws of probability a creation of God but it won't prove His existence to anyone who doesn't believe. The numbers aren't balanced on small scales. Many families have all boys or all girls and even small towns can have many more of one sex. It's only when you look at really huge numbers of people that the numbers really equal out.

Personally, I think if God were to take a particular interest in balancing the sexes, He would choose to either have the numbers match perfectly or have many more women. The way things stand now, there are not quite enough men to go around but not so few that we should go back to polygamy.

the balance doesn't prove the existence of god, the pattern does.

basically even though their are more boy babies born, by the time the population reaches 60 there's been a dramatic reversal of fortune, there are more females left standing, even in this day and age when we hear that females have a higher risk of heart disease than men, we still somehow out live u.

anything that has a design has a maker, and the fact that the population spread

It would be very convenient to think that there is some natural mechanism balancing ratio of men to women and women to men
but no such thing exists..In the natural world selection is based on
competition for partners,resources and territory.
Lots of study has been done on this subject and we humans
are in competition in mating game. Fortunately the choice of partners is not just based on competition and resources.

I think God would like us all to be loved and be loved.

This has nothing to do with God. The only part he has is sending the souls and creating Adam and Eve. People have babies, he doesn't reach down and kill women to make it uneven. And actually, there are more females than males on this planet, by a lot.
