Icons on bottom right corner have changed to horzinal and next to start my yahoo ticker beta showed up I have no idea where it came from and under that cyberlink powerDVD shows up I don't know where any of this came from I would like to get it back like it was computers are new to me thank you. Where start is screen moved up 1/2 inch

You just expanded your task bar. Put the cursor right on top. It will turn into a line with two arrows when you have it right. Then click and drag it to the size you want. You can drag it too far and you won't see anything but the top. Just drag it back up.
It is possible that you need to right click on the bar first and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" You also might want to check it after you are done so that you can't accidently move it again.
