Don't talk wet. How would you feel if someone served up your granny to you in a restaurant ?

Ok, see your point-in a very strange Hannibal lector way or maybe animal rights (not sure)

Number one the law would consider it murder or if already dead, the violation of a corpse and not allowing the person to rest in peace.

Number two I don't know how true this is but apparently human meat can cause a form of brain disease and is difficult to digest. There are tribes who still practise cannibalism in papua new Guinea or alternatively there was a case in Germany (?) where a man advertised for his human mixed grill and receive a willing participant (though I think this was more of a warped fetish)

And anyway animal meat tastes good and I would bet that the call for supermarkets to stock human meat is pretty slim ( I reckon there are some moral issues to consider) However if our culture and society was different-like papua new Guinea maybe we would be feasting on human chops and steaks.

Because our cultural norms say that it's ok. Some people's norms say that it's ok to kill and eat other human beings in some situations.
The justifications most people have for doing it is that animals can't talk or express themselves effectively to humans, we have no evidence that they're sentient or even feel intense pain.

Its OK to kill and eat certain animals because they are highly nutritious and taste good. Also, they are capable of converting grass (which we can't eat) into meat (which we can).

As for people, the ancient chinese people apparently called it "Long Pig" because it tasted like pork. Nothing biologically wrong but it's considered an unfriendly act by some people.

have you seen a tiger eating tiger or an elephant eating elephant or shark eating shark. out of million of species there are very few which eat from its own kind, the reason is if man starts eating man then everyone will feel insecure. its by birth an accepted contract that we will not eat anyone of ourself inorder to survive.

to live everyliving thing has to eat another living thing which is called eco system. we eat animals or plants both are living. you must be surprise to know that modern researh has found out that plants also feel pain, so if you think its unjust to living things then you should also not eat plants

The object of eating is survival...you feed your stomach so you can go on living. It is not okay to eat others of your species because that goes against the very nature of why you are eating in the first place...to continue your life. Life is communal and propagation of the species is paramount. Eating each other is not the way for the species to continue. And also, we don't taste that good.

I agree with you completely! Why its seems perfectly rational to equate eating humans with animals, they're anatomically and cognitively alik...no wait...they're not and thats why you can't eat people. Besides i heard it tastes like chicken , so if you really want to have a Soylent Green experience I recommend KFC.

Good point but we live in a world were we have been educated to eat what is put in front of us and the ethics are seldom understood by the parents, so not likely to get explained to the children, and so it just goes on and on

Eating humans it's sick really, just thinking of it!
It's commonly known as Cannibalism and it's very very wrong unless it is for your survival apparently.
If you were stuck on the andes with a bunch of already dead people then yes, you can nibble on their arses if you need or indeed want to!
in day to day society they will come and take you away for it!

Food chains; most animals eat other species which are smaller or or unable to defend themselves, very few eat their own species. It is a survival issue, if we eat are own, we are more likely to die out. There is one type of spider whose females eat the males after mating......I prefer a cigarette myself!
