Sure, as long as they dont irritate your ears, sometimes they do. And make sure that they are not tarnished, looks cheap and trashy. Try your local thrift store for large hoops, funky styles or classic styles. Most sell earrings for as little as .50 cents. Make sure they close properly for you before buying. You will find a lot of old classic Sarah Coventry, Trifari, brands that last forever, and are made to last. Great Bargains ! Easy on the pocket !

If your skin doesn't react to them. People with an allergy to certain metals usually cannot wear gold-plated earrings. I know I can only wear solid gold or sterling silver earrings, if I wear anything else my ears get itchy and inflamed. Most earrings that aren't solid gold or silver contain nickel, and a lot of people are allergic to nickel. Plus the gold on plated earrings usually wears off, and can turn your skin a greenish color.

Yes, I worked in a jewelry store and have nice gold jewelry. The gold plated ones last just about as long a the solid ones. The price is affordable.

Sure you can wear gold plated earrings until you do not have skin problem with them. If your skin react with these earrings then you never ever carry gold plated jewelry...

The purpose of wearing silver & gold is to inherit the properties. Though plated jewels are affordable & fashion, it is not healthy as per the hindu mythology

Your choice according to your aesthetic taste and budget. Personally prefer solid gold myself.

No, no, and no again - gold jewellry always looks tacky regardless of how much it cost.
