Take it easy. There should be a club for paranoid mommies! I would have to join! You need to relax and enjoy your pregnancy! If you really feel that there is something wrong speak to your doctor just to be sure. Keep in mind you will still have the odd twinge and tummy ache because you can constipated etc. GOOD LUCK

I can understand your fear, since you've already had a miscarriage. The only advice I can offer is to relax, most of those twinges, cramps and tummyaches are perfectly normal. Stressing is not good for you or the baby. I loved the whole pregnancy thing, it was the 20 years that followed that were really tough.

Dont worry! That wont do you any good!!!! Just trust everything will be fine, there is no point worrying about something that hasnt happened yet. Pluss its normal to get twinges, normally the fist sign of a miscarriage is bleeding (but that doesnt alway mean a miscarriage) so I wouldnt start worrying unless that happens

Hey. I just found out I am pregnant. 5 weeks, same as you. I am going through the same thing. Each time I get a cramp or a slight twinge I keep thinking something is about to happen to my baby. The advice my mom gave me is that if it is really severe pains in your stomach go to the ER. Otherwise its probably just trapped wind that needs realeasing lol
Good luck with your pregnancy and your baby when he/she arrives!

You are perfectly normal. All first trimesters are scary. I just had baby #3 and I was still a nutcase the first 12 or so weeks. Try to relax, and find a due date club on line to talk to people going through the same thing. It really helps to have that kind of support. Try Babyzone.com or justmommies.com they are both great.

No, your not just being parinoid. I completly understand your concerns. E-mail me at boots54114@yahoo.com if you'd like to chat. Good luck on your baby. And congradulations.

boy i've been there. i lost my first pregnancy at 9 wks. so this time when i saw the positive pregnancy test it was bittersweet. my advice is to try to clear ur mind, whenever i would think about miscarrying again i would take the dog on a walk, if it gets bad and ur getting hysterical just think that u need to calm urself down for the good of the baby. take a deep breath and distract urself.
i'm at 16 wks and the day that i got out of that dreaded first trimester was the happiest day of my life...(so far)!

I agree with Hilly. Just stay calm and relax. I must admit I had the same worries but, eventually they will wear off and you won't give them a second thought. It's the best thing to do for both you and baby. Just enjoy your pregnancy and put your feet up when you can. Soon you will feel your little one bouncing around in your belly and your fears will diminish! Best of luck!

No, however i'd never miscarried before (i'm sorry for your loss). I thoroughly enjoyed the first trimester because i slept SO much! From the time i got home from work till it was time to go again the next day i slept. I was always well rested and never had morning sickness. It was very pleasant.
