Yes, there is. I'm on the wife's computer at the moment and there are three types attached. I'm using the old corded G.E. optical (wk3803) 'cause I like the smooth wheel but the kind you're speaking of is here too. It's called a motion gyration (gp4101). I've never liked it and it's very hard to get used to. There's a trigger underneath that you hold down to use the cursor and releasing it is like lifting your normal mouse off the pad. also, with your hand wrapped around the mouse, you have to use your thumb to right and left click. Much like the tiny , tiny, wireless keyboard, she bought it because it was new and cool. It almost never gets used. Have a great day.

yes there is a laser mouse produced by logitech but its very expensive. the MX1000 79.99 without tax and the G7 99.99.just go to pricegrabber.com and there are cheaper models available but the more you spend the better the quality.
