avoid stress if possible keep then skin moisturised and don't pick or scratch. I suffered from it for years then it cleared up when I had my son and has never really come back, just small patches when stressed

I had serious psoriasis, especially on my hands where it was really noticeable and extremely painful.
About 8yrs ago I went to a Chinese herbalist, I didn’t have high expectations, in fact I thought it was most likely to fail, but a friend insisted and even paid for the initial consultation. For 3mths I had to drink pints of the most foul smelling concoction, which almost made me want to throw up within 3 weeks of finishing the course my psoriasis had completely gone. I’ve subsequently had to repeat the course about 4 times and each time the psoriasis has completely vanished before the end of the course. The results last for a minimum of 8months, the longest was 2.7yrs and counting. Its not an out and out cure, but it's the only thing Ive ever found that makes it go away...

I've suffered from psoriasis for about 10 years. I've tried so many things prescribed from the doctors. Many things too strong which just burn my skin, and others not strong enough and a waste of time. Personally I've found Eumobase to be the best thing. You can get it without prescription, most Chemists will need to order it in though! It's for dry skin conditions, but has helped me to no end.
Avoiding dairy also, hard I know, but it does help.
To be honest it depends what type of psoriasis you have in order to treat.
You should check out the link below, I found it very useful.
Good luck, hope you find something that helps, I know miserable it can get x

My daughter had an episode of Psoriasis caused by an injection of penicillin, She had a bout of strep throat. It was named Gutate Psoriasis.
The cause was from her body receiving a high dose of antibiotic and the body said, wait a minute? this body is already sick and we sent the armies in to fight the strep so who are these guys?
Her body went into disarray.
Anyway it was a hard battle, but we beat it!
This is top of the line book for anyone suffering any ailment really, but Psoriasis is the focus here.
The book is;
Sick and Tired?
Regain Your Inner Terrain
Author: Anthony Robbins
I did not get this book until a long while after we got rid of her Psoriasis.
Anyway,I searched and searched and finally came to our own conclusions.
The Dr.`s told her to take B3 light treatments and we do not know if that helped.
She took Milk Thistle and Kyolic Garlic that had A,C,E in it.
The Kyolic Garlic plus A,C,E is called Formula 200 or something like that.
It says on the bottle Organic.
She only used Baby Shampoo to shower with on her skin and hair.
Rinsed her body in cold water
The Liver is important to keep clean and the Milk Thistle aids the organ in doing this.
Greens are the key for diet, but no spinach!
Please do not take this advice as iron clad for Iam not a health professional.
You must have a close monitoring by a health care professional.
The Book I mentioned before is a must.
My best to you.

Coal tar has a bad smell but it works. The problem is that psoriasis at the moment cannot be treated with 100% effectiveness. I am from Zimbabwe and I have had it for almost 10 years. It comes and goes. You could try sulphur ointment, again it stinks, so you might want to use it when you are not going out, but it works. The soaps made from coal tar or sulphur are good at keeping the scaling at bay.

Psoriasis is a complex disease: It is well discussed, with lots of suggested remedies and advice in: Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine (Murray & Pizzorno), Prescription For Natural Cures (Balch & Stengler), and Digestive Wellness (Elizabeth Lipski). A little study of the articles in these excellent books written by experts should give you some good guidance and ideas.
Good luck and God bless.

Aloe Vera. My ex had it bad and I did quite a bit of research on it.
You can find out all on google. Also avoid soap and use soap free products. Also try chinese medicine, herbology and maybe acupunture.
What works for one man may not work for another, so don't give up!

I personally don't suffer from it, but my dad has it bad.He finds that Sunlight clears it up for a bit, and my mum uses non biological washing powders and fragrence free soaps, shower gels etc. Also if you have it on year scalp, use T gel. My dad has found this the best shampoo to use.
