My sister laid a bombshell on me yesterday apparently an email that was suppose to be private along with some of the conversations that was said also was carbon copied to my church pastor, I became very upset and very angry at my ex-girlfriend that has been showing weird behavior ever since she had her run in with me a couple of months back. My sister has never done anything wrong to her I don't think that she deserved this and the things that was said. At this time everyone that do know about it is trying to keep me away from her because they know that I would kick her in the teeth for that, and that is including my pastor who has asked me not to get involved, but personally because she is my family I am involved so I put this question to all of you if this happened to any member of your family what would you do and why?

Firstly, you can only control your own actions, so what you do or say is a direct reflection of the person you are. I wouldn't go around telling people I want to kick their teeth in.
Secondly I would just go see the pastor and say to him that the correspondence was private and shouldn't have been passed on to him or anyone else and you would appreciate if the matter went no futher.
Thirdly there is nothing you can do to control the other peoples action (legally) If you raise yourself above her and act with dignity you will be seen as the better person and the others will be seen as the vandictive people they are.

First emails are not personal, over a line of communication and anyone can pick it up. Accidents do happen! Don't no one need to keep you away from her, you-guys had a personal relationship at one time. Be a man, contact her, correctly and let her know how you feel about the matter. The pastor has nothing to do with this either. You are no saint, neither your sister, stop acting like you are. You have a angry problem, if you are talking about doing someone physical harm. Get real with yourself and your sister. Talk the matter out like adults, correct what can be corrected and move on. Keep your pastor out of this, unless the pastor is family too.

Was the e-mail to her? If it was, she can do with it what she pleases. Your pastor should be able to keep you secrete so I don't think I would worry about him. I really don't know what you can do about a fact that is let out of the bag. However, beating her up will only land you in jail.

Yes, you are in title to feel, to say and be involved how ever you choose. but kicking her in the teeth doesn't undo the damage nor doesn't it make it any better or easier for your sister, Keeping the issue alive will not allow others to forget readily. Hold your head high, making no comments or responding to others will be forgotten sooner

Maybe God was trying to bring your lesbian relationship to the surface, and bring it into the open. I take it you are a girl, and you did say your x girlfriend, that`s wrong behavior in Gods eyes, and definately your Pastors, if he is a real servant of the Lord. Maybe God is teachin you a lesson?
