I know what makes us dizzy, correct me if Im wrong. It's fluid in our ears that keeps us balenced, when we spin around it spins around also. But how could that make us feel sick, and ultimatly throw up?

Confusion between perceived movement and actual movement makes such feeling.Our sense of equilibrium lies in the ear (there's some fluid you are right) and works together with eyesight. When these two don't "agree" to what extent the body is actually moving the symptom is presented as feeling of throwing up even though the stomach itself has nothing to do with the situation and most often you will really feel sick and throw up.
Actually we don't get sick when we're dizzy but yes we feel sick. (??) But most often we get dizzy when we're sick.

I thought it would work that way and I was hoping for the best with my kids but unfortunately I think my kids inherited their father's immune system. I breastfed for 15 months and 22 months and they both have allergies (although not as severe as my husband's) and they seem to catch everything and bring it home. At the moment, we are all sick. Oh well! However, I do know that boys have more ear infections and my son only had a very slight one that we were able to stop before it became a big deal and he's 2 now. So hopefully breastfeeding helped him that way.

Because dizzinss causes an imbalance in the inner ear and a neurological imbalance the body has to adjust itself to regain that balance. For some reason, throwing up seems to correct the problem. I am a migraine sufferer and once I violently vomit (not a nice thing believe me) the headache subsides. Our stomach seems to literally hold the answer for bringing our body back into balance for many problems.

So take good care of your stomach....:}

I read somewhere (I think it was in one of Dawkin's books) that dizzyness is a sign that we might have been poisoned. If this is correct, it's a logical reaction to throw up to get rid of the poison that is still in the stomach.

By "get sick," I presume you mean become nauseated. One theory, though not universally accepted by scientists, is that, as humanity evolved, it was a primitive adaptation to poisoning. That is, when you accidentally ingested something that might kill you, you wanted to eject it ASAP. The theory argues that dizziness shares several of the characteristics of such poisoning, including symptoms similar to labyrinthitis, and therefore induces nausea.

In nature, most dizziness would be caused by eating poisons. Puking is a good way of getting rid of them.
