We all believe, irrespective of our religion that the God we believe in created the world, and everything in it.If we do not accept this we are admitting another creator and God for those other people, and our God becomes a part-God .
If we believe that our God created the Universe and everything and everyone in it, then why are we fighting people who do not know about our concept of God, but are the creations of the same God?
What we should be doing is - knowing that everyone and everything - we know, and do not know iare created by our god, and He would be angry when we hurt any one of His creations in a false bid to glorify Him! (Stupid are we not?)
To top it all; we are killing each other in a bid to get the right to define God our Creator!!
Are we not trying to be more than God when we are attempting to define Him and confine His activities to people who believe in our defenition of him?
can we completely, or even attempt to define God with our limited language and brain

If you doubt the existence or the ability or maybe the position of the God that you believe and other religion believe in. Just always bare in mind that there is a TRUE God out there that we might not know or other religion know or believe in. There's a possiblity that the God that we believe in is not really the true almighty God who really made all things (maybe also the other Gods)..... Just always remember that there is a God (the most superior) and that we should believe in him. We might not know thw true name but he's always there above us ... just watching every move...

"Gosh joey, your question is so complex that no one can answer it without faith, if you're a believer. There is no known natural law through which matter can give rise to information, neither is any physical process or material phenomenon known that can do this.
What is the source of the information?
We can therefore deduce that the huge amount of information in living things must originally have come from an intelligence, which had to have been far superior to ours, as scientists are revealing every day. But then, some will say that such a source would have to be caused by something with even greater information/intelligence.
However, if they reason like this, one could ask where this greater information/intelligence came from? And then where did that one come from … one could extrapolate to infinity, for ever, unless …
Unless there was a source of infinite intelligence, beyond our finite understanding."

Being some where between an agnostic and an atheist I think your opening premise is flawed. I'm apt to contemplate who created God but that's another story, Since the begining of time man has been choosing up sides and once he chose up sides it wasn't enough to put his team against the other team he had to then put his nation against the other nation and finally his God against the other God. It is a tradition leaders have carried on through the ages, and will probably carry on as long as man lives and believes in a God. I have no clue if there is a higher power, but I envy those who are so certain there is that they are willing to lay their lives down for one.

Not exactly every religion believe in a god, if you count Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism etc as religion. As a Buddhist the entire idea of linear time where god is the first cause and therefore the creator is absurd to me. So is the idea that just by being our creator he should deserve so much reverence.

We try to evaluate God by what we know !
Our internal data bank to compare and assess , is it really good enough ! We do not do well even as good as few animals, regarding receptivity through sense organs !
Yes, there is a better alternative. Deepen the perception levels beyond sense organs (capability available though as just a possibility, only to humans), and then experience the inner nature, and all these confusions would resolve.
Your evaluations of human limitations are correct !

When it comes to questions like these... this what I generally do to feel more at ease.
First of all: when we see a building a house or anything of the sort, we think: " Who is the builder of this building?"
Or When we read a book, we look at the front cover to see who wrote it.
So I believe, that if all these things have a builder, a writer, etc.
there must be a creator for the Universe.... Don't you think so?

All things happen for a reason.
All we can do is try to understand that reason.
All things have a purpose.
If something does not have a purpose it can not exist.
You must remember that every thing you see and experience can only be seen or experienced the way you do by you. Everything in your existence is from your reference frame or point of view.
These are true for everyone and everything.

Not everyone believes in God. I believe in Him and therefore are comfortable in believing He was the Creator of the Universe/Life on earth. I have at present no other evidence to dispel my belief.

Because Jesus warned us of many False prophets and that we should avoid these deceivers. “Many will come in my name”…something like that. Some don’t resist that and follow these false prophets to somewhere else. While that happens they are still “believing in the same God as you discussed….the mistake is the “turn” some take sometime down the line. This is what the evil one does.
“We” killing people and stuff. I don’t know what you mean. I don’t know of anyone that is killing people.
