As a father I want to say never, but I also know that I have to give her the freedom to make choices. As long as the choices do not endanger her in any way. I want her to be Independent enough to survive if something happens to me. I want her to be strong enough to forge her own way in life. But I am still going to be watching over her till I die. If someone attempts to or actually harms her, they will feel my retribution before the courts if I can get there. She is the greatest Joy in my life. I'm going to do my best to protect her. That's my job. When you have children you will understand better

When your married and your husband takes over. LOL, I think your father probably has your best interest at heart. You should feel very blessed most women would love to have a loving father.
Just deal with him, your 30 yrs. old humor him. It will probably never change in his mind you will always be daddy's little girl.

*laughs* Sorry honey, your daddy will never stop being protective of you. Since the day you were born and he first held you in his arms he swore an oath to love, provide and protect you until the day he dies. And in his eyes....no matter how old you are, you'll "Always" be his little girl.
