HEY! UM...I BANK WITH REGIONS AND YESTERDAY, I NOTICED THAT MY ACOUNT BALANCE WAS NOT COVERING SOME OF MY PENDING DEBITS. I QUICKLY WENT TO THE BANK AND DEPOSITED CASH TO COVER MY TRANSACTIONS.I THOUGHT THAT SINCE THEY HAD NOT POSTED, THAT I WAS COVERED.

I BANKED WITH BANK OF AMERICA BEFORE THIS AND WITH THEM, EVEN IF YOU WENT NEGATIVE, AS LONG AS YOUR DEBITS WERE STILL PENDING THEY WOULD NOT CHARGE YOU ANY FEES. IF I MADE A DEPOSIT, IT WOULD PROCESS IT BEFORE MY DEBITS. SO WHEN MY PENDING TRANSACTIONS POSTED, I WOULD BE IN THE CLEAR.

WELL, MY TRANSACTIONS POSTED AND 6 DEBITS HIT BEFORE MY DEPOSIT WAS PROCESSED AND I NOW HAVE 200 DOLLARS IN OVERDRAFT FEES.

ANY TIPS ON HOW TO WORK WITH A CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE TO GET THESE FEES REMOVED?

ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP....THANK YOU SO MUCH!

If your account history with this bank is in good condition, they may assist with reversing the overdraft fees for you. If not, maybe you can get them to reverse half of them? Try asking to speak with the supervisor or manager. They'll be able to work with you better and may be more sympathetic towards your situation. Good luck!

Negotiate with them; point out that your credit wasn't posted 1st. If they want to keep your business they may respond positively, but 'don't bank on it!' Sorry about the pun - I couldn't resist!

Go and talk to your bank and explain the situation. They may or may not reverse the charges.

B of A will NOT budge, you will have to pay them.
