all the recent negative publicity w/ books like "Fast food Nation" & films like "Super Size Me"?
I'm hearing more & more *kids* say "I hate McDonalds!"
Making think they'll be the 1st anti-McDonalds generation.

Nah Macca's have done a lot of to counter that buy putting the food table up, the new deli section and salads.
Plus they are too good at getting the kids interested from a young age and making them come back and back for MORE until they are heaps old!

I think we as a nation are starting to look a little closer at the fast food lifestyle,, but no I don't think McDonalds took any more of a hit than other fast food joints,, everytime I go there at lunch I still see a lot of young kids, and teens.

I haven't eaten mcdonalds for two months but I still know some teenagers who go there every breakfast and lunch every school day

My kids are already anti MacDonalds. They react badly to the additives in food and drinks -it makes them hyper- and places like Maccy D's are a minefield.
Despite the fact that they generally don't like the taste of that sort of thing anyway, they know that they way they behave after eating that stuff is unacceptable, and they now won't go near the stuff.
