How come as insane a person as Bush can be the Prez?
What is the fault with the people as a whole to elect him?

It goes to show you what money can buy. We simply need to vote at elections to change and make sure people like him dont get into office. There is such a apathy in this country so people dont vote and gives an unfair advantage to these type of politcians. The people that dont vote are primarily the bulk of the middle class. They have a mentality that as long as it doesn't affect my family or my life I wont rock the boat. They say things like: "I dont like any of the candidates", "my vote doesn't count", I'm to busy", " Well he's better than the other guy". These are all excuses not reasons. I have to drag my mother to the polls, whats up with that? But these are the same people that complain about the current situation. I tell those people to put up or shut up! If you dont vote, you have right to gripe. Think about this, try and remember whether you voted in the last elections? I would bet money that the majority of the people that are complaining today didnt vote. Bush got elected by "stupid" people.

Because he exudes the persona of an extremely likeable person next to john kerry. just look at how many times he made people laugh during the presidential debates.

Bush is trying to rid the world of the influence of islamic jihadism which oppresses women in their corner of the world as well as attacks us constantly. If you were capable of any solidarity with your fellow women in the arab world you would be supporting your president. It's amazing how many bimbos are liberals.

In any case, since he cannot make decisions on his own he has a clique of people around him doing the thinking for him.
He's basically a puppet.
Not to worry, most people feel the same way and as such like it or not he will go down on record as one of the dumbest to occupy the office.

Do you really think that the American people actually voted for George Jr? If the elections weren't rigged, I think that he scared the sh!% out of everyone with his war on terrorism bullsh!%. He wants us to be afraid so that he can steadily take away all of our freedoms that this country used to represent. Homeland security? Or dictatorship? Don't they seem strangely similar?

Judging from the pretty even split of opinions, for and against, on this page I`d say the reason Bush became president is because 125,000,002 people voted for him and only 125,000,000 people voted against him! Really it could go any way.
