OOOH, that's exactly what I'm afraid of, and that's why I never climbed any ladders of success in my life.

Now, I'm choosing ladders that you can jump from onto another ladder easily. For example, I am taking a bunch of core office courses, with three specialities: veterinary, legal and medical. That way if I find that I hate one job it will be easier to go to a different one.

I did that too! I became a registered nurse and never felt totally fulfilled. Childhood dream was to become a vet but i was told it was not a woman's job by my parents (i'm 55) In those days vets were men and doctors, women were ... Nurses! So after many years ... I decided to climb another ladder and started studying about dogs, psychology, bereavement counselling, care etc. I now work full time (Self employed) With dogs if i keep my registration by banking once a while. I feel fulfilled workwise and that has to be the best feeling ever!

It happens.
Choosing the right ladder is not an easy task.
Know your talents, passion and interests.
Then choose the path to success.

Jus climbing the ladder for the sake of success will lead u nowhere!
Only if u love to Climb, you ll enjoy the fruit.
Else, you ll say "These fruits are Sour!"

I have been relatively high up in 4 different companies. Only to end up being layed off or the company bought out and downsized. I am now a machinist making a so-so wage but LOVE it. If you are not about a ton of money get a good menial job that pays decent and I am telling you, it is soo worth it!!
