is the somerset county council worth working for. i wan't to find a job in a college?

Local government is a reliable employer. The pay rates are not the best, but reasonable. Conditions are usually good, they have decent HR policies, and normally competent union support. However, don't build your hopes up about working for a college if you can't tell the difference between "want and "won't".
