For some it is a large sum of money, a friend of mine lives only on $300. a month...others have killed for less, and some would lose it in Vegas and not even blink.

Here in India it can take care of the groceries of a family of 2-3 for a month, a $100 converted is nice big bucks, a couple can have steaks in a 5 star deluxe hotel, you can get a plane ticket to a city 3 hours away by flight, you can buy a pretty decent mobile phone, you can a load of branded clothes, you can get all the formula/diapers/cereal/toys a 9 month old needs (for the month). Phew !!! If you meant how much its worth in America, then I guess not a lot coz a friend got my 9month old daughter, $33 baby shoes that were pretty crappy looking and made in Indonesia.

A hundred dollars is like five used to be. For example: when it takes half of that to fill the gas tank, suddenly $100 don't seem like very much money, does it? Well... That's because it's not! I have drank many bottles of wine that cost three times this amount. On the contrary, I have a friend who lives on a minimum wage income. I don't for the life of me see how she does it, but she does! I've always said; if we took someone who could feed 10 children on a minimum wage budget, and put them in control of the national budget, we would be in the black in no time flat. Have Fun!

sadly its worth nothing anymore.. thanks to high inflations, and more expensive tastes!
i just got a hair cut for that much this morning, and i am really depressed about how i didn't feel the pinch, or even act surprised when i was told the price.
It suddenly sounds reasonable!

Whatever amount, it's still money and if I don't have to use it for daily needs e.g. food, transportation etc, I'll just save it up. Like a squirrel saving each acorn it can find.
