Yes she can, when a woman is on her period she's ovulating and is at more of a risk to get pregnant that way cause that produces more eggs.

if you had sex without protection yes. you can ask to see if she want to get an emergency contraception at local clinics... its not an abortion... its a pill. But I urge you both to use condoms or use birth control pills... abortions arent the friendliest thing for a woman to go through. Also, it shouldn't be a solution to unsafe sex. It can and will cause a lot of tissue damage to a woman's body.
