Doodle method- On his/her IM window, send a buzz and load the IMvironment Doodle. If it loads and shows, "waiting for friend 2 load", the person is really offline, if it doesn't, he's invisible

one other simple step...send him a buzz and then start sharing IM vironments and if they load up then you know that the other person is online else it pops up with an error.

hello.if he/ she is just invisible for you,you can check her/his ID by yahoo status checker & find if she/he is online but if he/she is invisible for every body in buddy list,you can invite him to conferance.if his/her voice become active by your invitation it means she/he is online but invisible.but if it gives error to your invitation seems she/he is offline.if you copy & paste this adrees in your adress bar it can help you too.thank you:)

go to there profile, and see if there online or offline IM is lit or dark.
