Well Greg chappel did start his coaching career with india with a controversy and drawing the attention of the whole nation to him. This did bring down his credetials as a coach. But the performance of the indian team as a whole has moved into a new dimesion. The fitness level has changed, the attitude has changed, the playing style has changed. Indian cricket on the whole has changed with the arrival of greg chappel.

The indian team has grown to believe in themselves and the fighting sprite has been revived. Though the indians have not got a good winning record to show . The do have some intresting wins and this clearly shows that the indian cricket is turing for the better under greg chappel.

I would rate him at 8/10. If he can take india to become a world chapmpions then he can get 10/10.

Greg Chappel is a very sincere and Professional Coach. Coach can only coach the players and give them guidance and tips how to improve their performance and bond the team together and also to inherit self confidence and fighting spirit. However, it isw upto the players to show the result in the field. If players are not rising to the expectations, coach cannot be blamed.

Are you mad or something?
what is sincere and professional about him.
Making this team a complete loser seems sincere and professional effort to you. If you are pointing towards his deceptive sincerity and and professionalism than yes he is definitely the same as you have said
so far today's win is concern than i would simply like to say that India has been awarded this win to keep Indian fans hope alive.

Somehow I just cannot like Greg Chappell.
The way he is keeping Zaheer Khan out of the team despite great county performances.
The way he turned Irfan Pathan into a batsman from an excellent swing bowler.

ofcourse, he is the one and only who is responsible for all the victories India got from the day when he took the responsibility... He knows how to do things and simply straightforward, for he pointed out Ganguly and Dravid and he believed completely on Sachin that he could do still... He knows whom to bowl and whom to play as the keeper, for he formed Pathan and Dhoni.... he is solely responsible for India for it is nowadays...
