Yes. Think of it this way..I've seen the sea..but have I seen it all?..all the sea that is? The sea is a tangible physical thing we can swim in,travel on and admire but there is more to it than we could ever know. Also even if we seen all of the sea by the time you had finished that trip the shores and tides would have changed it from what you knew to begin with.

This answer is trying to answer the "esoteric nature" of the question

Why do you want more? We live in a world where we have hate and love. Beauty and ugliness. Ecstasy (in this context I'm referring to the emotion) and depression. We have mountains and abysses, we have life and death, good and bad, what more do you want.

(As far as I can work out the myths of heaven and hell are merely exaggerations of things on this earth.)
