Hair is constructed from a protein called Keratin, same substance your fingernails are constructed from.
Bleaching your hair would only strip the color and weaken the keratin in your hair, causing it to be brittle, believe it or not, there is no medically proven way to increase the speed at which your hair grows.

No it actually causes it to break off. It damages the hair like dying it does and using a hot iron damages it too. It all causes split ends.

No, it actually damages the hair by stripping it of its pigment(color). The hair that is damaged will be dry and brittle and need to be cut off.

lol, where did you get that idea?
it damages your hair. strips the pigment from your hair. what part of that would make your hair grow? maybe its just more noticable that your hair is growing because of the tacky roots.
