The existence of language can be expected to be a natural phenomenon, but all human languages have been invented.

Yes I agree.
Humans needed to communicate to state their needs to the fellow tribe members. This would imply that it was an invention but an invention is something that is created from scratch.
A discovery is something that is discovered that as previously unknown to history.
Humans started using simple sounds and hand gestures to communicate their needs. Communication was always there and language evolved from that.

I am unable to follow your language. Now you got it as long as the gestures are accepted by each other.
Logically it is naturally evolving and remain in use till something else is more use full is evolved. Language is live always changing with time, location and occasion.
Invention and discovery is time bound object. has limitations and lifeless.
Terrorist has their language to express their views which are changing every moment.

In a certain age (about 2 years) it is the main discovery in every humans life.
Its of corse a "natural evolution"!
The more You talk with good friends the more You like it!
Every human beeing needs it , Your talk partners should be good freinds!

yes, language is a natural evolution .
Before centuries, humans used different patterns or styles of sound and action for interaction or communicate.
Gradually, it takes perfect pattern and then come grammar , lingustic, phonetics etc.
and still languages are changing their form like Shakespearean Eng. (Old Eng.) differs lot
from our recent Eng.
We can not find the routs of language so we can say or we should say it's a natural evolution but grammar, linguistic, prosody, syntax (order or arrangement of sentence) (adjective, adverb, noun-pronoun) is invented not discovered and we have so many new words every year. like computer, e-mail, cancer, cybercafe, etc.
so it's still going on & on............
so lang. is a result of natural evolution and constantly modifying.............

it must be i can`t see how you could discover it or invent it its got to have come about like with monkeys where a certain sound is under stood by them all to mean a particular thing i would`nt be surprised if the sounds had a certain expression to go with it (like with monkeys) the world should have an evolution week were we cant speak just like communicate with monkey noises and faces i could do with a good laugh

I don't agree fully with u..Some one must be taken initiative to for its development, that is an invention.But its development is a natural evolution.
