Parveen Travels operates daily bus from Chennai to Kodaikanal.

Bus services from Chennai to Kodaikanal.- As suggested lot of buses from Egmore. Cost by bus around Rs.350/- per head. Time taken- Nearly 11 -12 hours.
According to me bus journey is tiresum. Instead, Go by
Train from Egmore - up to KODAI ROAD. It Starts at 8 pm reaches early morning 4 ' o clock. From there local bus sevices to Kodaikanal hill. . Comfortable.
Cost by train --- Rs. 220 + 25 ( bus to hills. )
Duration ----- 8 hr + 2 hr ( by bus)
I went recently, it was plesant.

quite a bit.go to egmore - opp egmore station to get the buses..approx 500kms..8 hrs journey by car and lil longer by bus.
