i started kind of feeling like ear clog and losing my hearing recently. I've waited about 1 week for appointment but appointment is next week so it will be 2 weeks of waiting by then. this week i started getting a new strange feeling and sound in my inner ear and also more feeling like i'm losing my hearing more. Should i just make an appointment with a ENT ear doctor now since they can probably attend me today? or is it ok to wait till next week and go to a general doctor who probably doesnt know much about my problem

If it's getting worse and there's an increase of pain I would find a place to go and have it check fast. Have to try to make a walk-in appointment at the local clinic? Try taking some pain relievers, such as Tylenol.

You just answered your own question- why would you want to go see a general Dr. who "probably doesnt know much about my problem"?
Go see the specialist

If you see your Doc next week, he will refer you to a Specialist.
So my point is... Don't wait. See specialist now.

ring your doctor and try and get an emergeny appointment, you normally can. If not you can try AE, or going straight to the ENT doc. Good luck......

Does your insurance require a referral from your pcp for a specialist? If so, you should see your pcp first; otherwise, perhaps a specialist would be better.
