I hate to see tattoo's on girls, she might as well have TRASH stamped on her forehead

LOL why am I not surprised to get the thumbs down - sorry girls but I'm entitled to my opinion - and it sticks, and for those of you who have to insult the asker simply because he doesn't agree with you...

He's not a *****, he's obviously just a guy who prefers 'ladies'

Tattoos on women are more popular than you realise. I think you should go to a rock club where tattooed women are a dime a dozen. They are the women who do it for themselves rather than for fashion. As a result, their tattoos are almost always tasteful. I once saw an Indian girl with an tattoo on her entire back. It looked beautiful. Bottom line is, the right tattoo on the right part of the right body will always look good. Only chavs and bikers have "Tramp Stamps."

BTW, I have a tattoo and the only person who gave me negative feedback about it was my Dad. You know how fathers are :D.

Ouch! I think you hit a nerve. Yes I do find 'Tramp Stamps' (as you put it) a turn off, it wouldn't be so bad if there was any originality out there, but everyone wants to be in the same club, all jumping on the band wagon.

Exposed tattoo's were sexy once, but WAY too common now (pity the girls that have them, can't un-have them so just try and half heatedly defend them).

Private tattoos can still be a little sexy as long as small and hidden in private places, not 'LOOK AT ME - I'M A TART' on view tattoos.

People WITH tattoo problems of their own seem to like it though.

Well there a lot of women with tattoos that have men, But Im sure there are plenty of you guys to. I have 2 my husband has none, He likes mine, Not that it would have mattered, my body not his. But its a personal thing, just like pierced Ears. Like them get them, dont like them dont get them. But I dont consider a tattoo a tramp stamp. It takes a Heck of a lot more then a tattoo to make a person a tramp.

Actually, I think it has more to do with what and where they are tattooed. Most of the men that I know appreciate something pretty on a woman, but don't like that all-over "biker chick" (no offense meant) tatted look. I got my first tattoo this summer and it's where I can show it if I want or cover it up if I want. It's a memorial to my beloved who died in April. If you just don't like them, you just don't like them whether you're a man or a woman. I think discretion is cool and a little titillating. I know that I find some tattoos very sexy on a man. I've also seen some that were just plain unattractive and they didn't turn me on at all.

As I am reading through some of the other answers I can't help asking myself. If a woman has a tattoo, why does she put it in an inconspicious spot if she is proud of it? Doesn't make much sense to me. I like tats on men, but not too many. That is just my preference.

A "tramp stamp" is a specific tattoo placement, the lower back. As to what I think of tats on a woman, who cares? I have two, want to get more. They are a form of self expression, just like the clothes we wear, our hair style, the type of vehicle we drive, etc... As long as you aren't hurting someone else with your form of expression, who gives a damn? What I actually find that shows a lack of class is when people have to point out that someone is demonstrating lack of class because of their form of self expression, IMHO.

And I think it is just you, I've yet to meet someone face to face that is turned off by my tats. I usually only see the people that are disgusted by them on message boards, forums, and other online places, but never IRL. If I did meet someone that disliked my tats IRL, they never said anything.

Tattoo's are generally like graffiti over a beautiful work of art. Most women would be better off without the tats.

My hubby is covered in tattoos and when we first met he said women with them turned him off.I kept quiet about mind until things got a "little hotter" he was panting with excitement when he seen mine in a hidden place. So it depends on the man, woman and tattoo.lol

its personal preference. i think "most" men however dont mind tattoos. i have 5 small ones and i havent had a boyfriend yet that has been turned off by them. personally i think large, gawdy tats on women would be a turnoff. women should go for small and strategically placed tats. all mine are small and hidden until i want them seen ;o)

"Tramp Stamps"...
Cute..
Never heard that one before..
Tattoos definitely do not add to a woman's femininity...
Some are at best neutral rather than a turn off....
