I really want to hear from women on this one. Are you inviting guys to flirt with you/hit on you (as in, do you intend to be receptive)? Are you just teasing (as in, no intention to be receptive)? Are they just that comfortable to wear? Is it something else? Or is it a combination of things?

I go to the nude beach, so wearing anything at all isn't a problem for me.

But when I did wear a bathing suit, it was always the skimpiest one I could find..partly because even then I didn't like the feeling of clothes on my body when I was at the beach or pool or in the water, and partly because I knew that I had a great body and looked good to guys when I was showing some skin.

It's not a question of being receptive, it's simply a matter of how you feel about yourself and the degree of comfort you have about wearing minimal clothes in front of others.

That's one of the reasons that the nude beach is so great...everyone's way past the business of what to show, what to keep covered...it's all out there and no big deal.

Hope this sheds some light on your question.

I live a long way from the beach, so don't get there often. But I do have a pool at home.
I normally swim in just a bikini bottom. And often with friends, both male and female. Most of the guys acted funny the first few times they saw me topless, but now they're used to it and don't seem to care too much. All of them know not to try to hit on me - we're just friends.

Why a bikini bottom? Bc I'm not comfy swimming nude with other people around, and my parents won't let me swim nude anyway, and bc I luv having no tan lines on my chest.

Hi. I am a surfer and I wear bikinis because they are light and comfortable. I also wear them because there is not a man or boy on the beach who doesn't feel it has been a slightly better day after I walk by.

i surf and go for a tan, so i like to wear as little clothing as possible. I hate it when guys come up to me and try to hit things off my commenting on my body. So no - not for guys but they're more comfortable than a one piece and the bikini lines are easier to hide.

What do you suggest?? A parka? A suit of armor? Sweatsuit? Grow up dude. Some are looking for guys, Some just want to swim and get some sun. You could always move to Afghanistan if this is such a problem for you.

Because they can. If you got it, flaunt it. No, they're not comfortable. Yes, they attract more male attention.
