..the Abominable Snowman?
Was he really such an 'abomination'? Can you tell me what he did please?

The so-called 'Abominable Snowman' or 'Yeti' was a mythical creature said to inhabit the snows of Tibet and live high in the mountains there. Although there has never been a truly accredited sighting, to actually see one was meant to be a bad omen. 'Abomination' means something extremely detestable so the sighting of one and the bad luck that would follow were the reason that the creature was so detested. He is on a par with 'Bigfoot' in the USA and other such non-existent monsters.

It's because he doesn't shape up as a Snowman.
In any respect whatsoever. There's the smell of course.
But he's never there when you want him - a snowman's not supposed to move about or spend his life apparently in hiding.
And if you've ever seen the pictures - that nose must be one rotten carrot!
There's more. He's got legs! I ask you.
What an abomination, eh?

I think the abomination is referring to his smell. But, I don't think you can really smell if it's cold outside, can you? Maybe he's really, really ugly. That's it! I'm going with that. He abominable because he's ugly.
