I think that there are people who deserve the death penalty, however, I don't have enough faith in this justice system to send anyone to death. One side doesn't care if your guilty, as long as they get you off. The other side doesn't care if your innocent, as long as they get a conviction. There are enough people out there who were proven innocent by DNA tests and who knows how many were wrongly executed. A lot of times, courts wont even hear new evidence. If there is no doubt, I think they should turn them over to the victims families to get rid of them however they choose.

I have mixed feelings on the subject. For those that are without doubt guilty then yes they should be executed.
On the other hand karma is karma and what goes up must come down... so throw the bastards in jail and let em rot ..
Then i think... i work & pay taxes so i am paying for them to get an education, uni degree etc. So why bother

I agree, only God has the right to take a life. For all those who say that Jesus said "an eye for an eye" better re read the passage. We are no longer under Old Testament law. I don't understand how people pick and choose which OT laws are valid and which they can ignore. I do believe in life imprisonment.

For, there is no place for some peoples axtions in society. I believe executions are good for thoes who are guilty beyond a doubt.

An eye for an eye!!!! This country is too nambie pambie!!!!! We need to get back to basics. Maybe even follow the lead of some of these third world countries. If you steal, cut off a hand instead of slapping it. Guess what would happen to sex offenders? But I`ve digressed. FOR!!!!!!!

Hard to say...There are certain criminals that totally deserve it. Yet it's the easy way. Let them rot in jail. It's a lot worse.
