Showing attention to someone, male or female, often makes the person feel appreciated. Who would not respond to being treated well? The real question here is whether or not you are doing it because you want to show that attention or do you have underhanded motives. I hope it is the former as the later shows a weakness of character.

You're talking about women with self-esteem issues.
They probably don't rate themselves very high.
Make no mistake - that does not mean all women are like that. You'll see as you get older luv.

Maybe they have low esteem and they'll respond to any sort of attention. Maybe they're trying to take you for everything that you've got. Maybe it's just the women you meet, not everyone responds that way.
