you need 8 glasses of water every day to keep your kidneys etc healthy as they flush the toxins from the body.

You DONT flush it all out in the WC as the body USES most of it. Over time, you will develop a stronger bladder, that helps you to keep fluids longer, and you will soon only go the toilet normal amount of times.

what i have been told is that you must drink loads of water every day for 2 to 4 weeks. at the beginning the body doesnt understand all the water so it exits the body ie. going to the wc all the time. but after 2 to 4 weeks the body realise that this water is a constant supply and starts to absorb it which will make you need the wc less. just persevere. i know its hard as i am trying to drink loads and its annoying to go to the wc all the time but at the end of the day, it will be worth it.
good luck

You're not supposed to hold in all the liquid you take in. The more you drink, the more you will have to use the bathroom. You're fine.
