Knock the bottom off a clay plant pot and put it on its' side in the tank. The new decoration will give them something else to worry about for a couple of days and more room for them to get away from each other reducing stress. Adding salt for freshwater fish sill stop the nips from getting infected and speed the healing process.

Well, we've got cyclids and they are doing the same thing to each other and we've also had the occasional dead fish.
We put the 5 fish in a bigger fish tank and now they're not fighting each other anymore.
Also it's a good thing that you only have one kind of fish or related species in your aquarium, because there are some species that really aren't compatible!
Since you only have danios, compatibility is not an issue here! Just give your fish some more space and maybe it's a good idea to talk to the people from the shop where you bought your fish from!

Danios need to be in a group of 6 or more. They need to have a big tank. Danios are peaceful fish but if these 2 conditions are not satisfied the fin nipping problem can arise.

I had the same problem with my goldfish, believe it or not. I ended up having to separate them to stop it. You might try watching them for a bit to see if there seems to be one "troublemaker", then either put him in a separate bowl/tank or buy an isolet so that it can still live in the same tank but be separate from the other fish.

the only solution is to get other types of fish and put them in with the danios, it will stop the danios attacking each other

The only way is to seperate them. All it is is a territory fighting. All fish do. The weak get killed and eventually the strongest will be the leader. Good luck

your tank could be too small, or you could need more placesfor them to hide from each other. If your tank is 10 gallons or less, it is too small
