yes u really have less weight atleast u must have 60 kg weight.U can gain weight by eating high calorie food & taking proper care of ur health.Better consult a doctor who will guide u how to increase ur weight.u should do some weight gaining exercise,drinking thick milk shakes & food which is rich in carbohydrate,protein like vegetables,dry fruits like cashewnuts,pistachiosetc.

My other half is 6ft 4 and even though he has muscles and looks like triangle man he is extremely skinny and finds it hard to gain weight at all. He is 22 - Maybe it will all start happening in ur 30's.
But don't do anything drastic like drink those muscle building juices or powders or anything or go mad in the health shop - just maintain a steady healthy diet and do regular exercise - i have the opposite problem but slowly dealing with it. - I hope this helps x

Dear friend,
If you want to gain weight, you will have to follow a carbohydrate + protein diet. Have pulses like various dals everyday. try including soya nuggets in your diet. beef also helps but i dont think much people enjoy it. every morning, with your breakfast, have a protein shake. its simple to make. in a glass of milk, add half a ripe banana and a raw egg. it may sound gross but you will not notice the eggs taste. add a spoon of sugar too. have this everyday. try dal and soya beans for lunch and some kind of meat at night. but do follow this diet regularly. do a little weight training, try skipping, swimming. best of luck

You sure extremely thin. To gain weight the only way is eat well and exercise well. Check you are short of any vitamins. to start with do good exercise and get more hungry. hunger get you eating and in few months you will be OK.

weight is mostly hereditary. yes by eating 2 ripe bananas along with one full glass of milk helps better. ancient method is in a bowl add a cup of cooked rice mixed with buttermilk a pinch of salt leave it overnight and next day eat it as breakfast not only it gives you strenght but weight also. soak 8 to 10 almonds over night next day mornig remove the skin and eat. result is sure. add kaju kismis in your diet.

Boy i m no official prescriber of any thing ,but i can tell u ,wake up at four morning,run,start ur mind as early as possible, eat as much as u can,and start enjoying life positively.I have heared milk and banana is a good combination,but aurveda says,there should b atleast 3hrs diff betwn the two.remember,combine milk with pepper,increases blood,...combining milk with ghee(milk fat/butter) insreases muscle tissues.search a good yoga book/instructor/website and start working with wisdom.

seriously m8. I am 36 5'8'' and have been 55-60 kgs since I was 13. The only things that works for me is eating as often as i can

You need to eat a lot of protein.

Lift heavy weights. Do 3 sets of 3. Lift every other day.

Don't do a lot of aerobic work.
