you say its been a while, but its still best to get it checked out, cos symptoms and infections can still fester way after you have sex!!!

If you are uncircumcised and the rash is occurring under the foreskin, it could be a yeast infection; or "nonspecific" balanitis. (Balanitis is the medical term for inflammation of the head of the penis.) If you are circumsised, I am less certain about it. If it's yeast, cortisone creams (which is what I think you mean by "quarterzone") would make it worse.
It should go away and leave a red rash which also goes away, dont worry about it!

could be thrush, ask your doctor for canestan,thrush is just a fungal infection that is caused by many things, such as a change in your soap that affects the ph of the skin etc, nothing to be worried about, get it checked just incase if the canestan doesnt work
