It depends who is hugging and whether the type of hug is appropriate to our relationship. What really bugs me are those fake kisses to the air on both sides of my face.

Nope! I was raised in a family that didn't ever hug each other, and I guess that's why I don't like it. I do find hugging to feel good, but it depends on who it is I'm hugging. Good Luck!

I am ok with hugs.. especially from my sweetie.. but I did go through a time in my life that I was really stressed and I was not comfortable with any hugss.. someones arms around me felt so suffacating that it would litterally make me ill .. I think it was all the stress.. but Ive gotten past it.. bring on the hugs!

I love hugs. I get them so rarely. I get a sense of being "home" from being hugged (by anyone).

I don't care for the "California hug," which hugs just about anybody with just about any excuse. I always think of the hypocrisy, and occasionally about pickpockets. My close friends, of course, I love their hugs.

It depends who is doing the hugging. If it's a close friend, significant other or family member, then absolutely. If it's some random old pervert, then hell no!

I liked being hugged by people I know and trust. It's letting them into my personal space and accepting them and showing them I care.
I do not like being hugged by people I do not know. It creeps me out. It feels fake, and usually makes me trust them less. They have to earn the privilege to be in my space.

still depends on who r u hugging or who hugs you! if a good friend then ok.. im usually ok with it.. but i like it from behind than in front..
