Each day there are newer and newer inventions and technologies available to us .All of these are digitized and computerized.so knowing computers is quite necessary.besides from the job point of view it is quite necessary these days to be computer literate.
As far as English is concerned it is an international language and language of business.so it is quite necessary to have good vocational skills and writing skills in English language to prepare good assignments,projects,etc.

No branch of commerce, science or industry is not involved with computers now and so the reason to develop skills in that area is, I think, obvious to all. What does terrify me is the absolutely disgusting state of English usage today. I can hardly find a question on this site that has been constructed with any attempt at the proper use of English. Spelling is ignored, punctuation improperly used and grammar totally ignored. The result is that many of the questions are beyond understanding. If you are unable to frame a simple question how do you ever hope to put forward a complex thought. No matter what your I.Q. is, without language it is just wasted. What sort of morons has the education of our next generation been entrusted to?

I think it is important to keep up with technology as far as possible as you need to be computer literate these days.
Many people seem to think that good spelling and grammar do not matter anymore. I am horrifed by this. Just try applying for a job and submitting a CV peppered with errors and see how far it will take you. This shows that good language skills are still very important. We should take pride in our language.

If you don't learn computer and English skills, you will be left behind. There's really not much you can do that doesn't involve a computer, if it doesn't, it's hard manual labor. English is helpful. Learning another language period is helpful.

technologies are getting more advanced each day..therefore, electronic devices are important for our future to communicate with each other, do our project/work/asisgnments...English is important because it is an international language where everyone tend to use it =)
