Right on sister!!! I love DOG, and the whole gang! I can NOT believe Mexico is pushing this. I heard it has alot to do with Andrew Luster's attorney, I'm sure they paid someone off.
Please folks, read up on this, BEFORE, you start making accusations! He did not kidnap anyone! And I bet if it was you mom, wife, sister, daughter etc.; that he brutally raped, you wouldn't be so quick to talk crap about the "rules" of
Mexico, and so on and so forth.
Keep Dog and his family in your prayers!

Dog the Bounty Hunter Special appeared on A&E last night. Critics may dismiss his plight because they see his show as a novelty. But I say to you this is of great import because there are three men’s lives at stake. This certainly deserves the attention of the public and the US government.
I am so incensed at his arrest and possible extradition back to Mexico. The whole thing is disgusting.
Duane “Dog” Chapman’s life and the life of son Leland & brother Tim hang in the balance over a minor misdemeanor – the capture of Andrew Luster – notorious rapist now serving 124 year sentence in prison.
While in custody in a US federal detention facility, their lives were threatened by familiar faces and other inmates seeking revenge for his bounty hunting profession. The Mexican prison’s conditions would be worse and they would most likely not live to serve the 4 month to 4 year sentence that misdemeanor carries.
“…. Mexico routinely declines to extradite suspects facing life in prison or the death penalty. Mexico's Supreme Court, which favors rehabilitation and views capital punishment and no-parole sentences as cruel, has blocked numerous extraditions until U.S. authorities agreed to lower the potential punishment a suspect faced in an American court.”
“Mexico itself has a mixed track record for returning fugitives. In the case of American citizens who flee to Mexico, it can take U.S. officials months or even years to get a fugitive returned if they have a good lawyer.”

I hope the Department of Justice does not let the American people down and three of its very fine citizens that need its help. Keep the Dog Free!!!!

I totally support Dog and his family and the things they are doing in Hawaii. So I am torn.
Yes and No.
I think that the charges and the bail conditions including the bail amount are ludicrous.
On previous episodes like the one in San Francisco it appears that Dog does his homework before he goes into different states to capture fugitives. Maybe this is because of what happened in Mexico. I do feel that he should have either 1 done his homework before he entered into another country or 2 made absolutely positive that the charges that he faced in Mexico were dropped or taken care of and not thought that they would just go away. It doesnt' work like that here so why would he think it works like that in another country?

Yes they should drop the charges against Dog the Bounty Hunter. He is on the side of the authorities all the way. It's ridiculous what they are doing to him.

Ludicrous is putting it mildly! It's totally unfair!! I watched the special last night(in fact,I watch Dog The Bounty Hunter every time it's on and will continue to do so). I truly believe that this is the result of one of two things:(1)a trade for the return of two drug lords to the US or(2)involvement by one of Luster's attorneys.
Anyway you look at it,Dog is being screwed, big time!! I'm with you,Dog & Beth!!

i watched the family speaks out tuesday, very informative and living in hawaii i can say the Dog is very popular, we went from the no1 state that has a "ICE" problem to having some control now especially with Dog help. Yes the charges are ludicrous and it makes you wonder what it the real motive that they are going after him now. According to our paper they are now trying to get his bail revoked, so someone is pressuring for this, smell setup and conspiracy on this one.

I hate the show and find the people in it incredibly annoying. However, I think he deserves a medal and a reward not jail time. I am a survivor of rape and it took something away from me that I can never get back. The feds are just embarrassed that he did what they could not do.

I wish I had've watched the show tonight where they were going to address that. I don't know what I think about it. I think we're biased because of the show on TV. I love that show, but they and other bounty hunters are not above the law and when you go into another country, you must respect and obey their laws.

Well, if he broke laws in his work, he should have to pay consequences too. Not familiar with this case. Did the guy he catch get off free? There are procedures that have to be followed to deal with criminals. Entrapment for example, even if used on someone who is "believed to commit a crime" is still wrong. I think with the fact he was trying to do good, that should be taken into consideration when determining judgement.

I think money had alot to do with that (Max Factor). They waited 3 years to do this, they were just waiting for just waiting for the right time. That said. I think they should have arrested his wife, maybe that would keep her big mouth shut. Somebody's going to knock that woman out cold one of these days.
