My parents had great taste in music. I got the Beach Boys, the Beatles, proper punk, e.g. The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Buzzcocks, The Jam, cool 80s stuff like Joy Division, New Order, The Stranglers, The Psychedelic Furs, etc, and my favourite band ever, REM (who I like so much more than my parents, apparently I over-played them as a teenager).
I love music so much and I think I had a good music education.

I love all kinds of music. I didn't really get any form my parents. I got most from my older brother. John Lennon, Cash, all the greats are from my Bro. My Mom was more of a prince and Elvis fan. My Dad was more of a Cher (SP?) fan. Not really what I'm in to.

With classic rockers, it is composed of a few time. First we've people who lived in the process the classic rock age...they then tend to get captivated with in user-friendly terms song from that variety and hate each thing else and immediately assume that today's song is in simple terms female Gaga, Kesha, Soulja Boy and Jonas Bros. fact is that there are numerous different acts accessible that share a ton of impacts from classic rock band, the biggest one that they may well be overlooking is Queens of the Stone Age. different are in simple terms posers attempting to slot in to look cool, enormously people who think of with the aid of donning a crimson Floyd or Jimi Hendrix shirt that they are cool and impressive, yet you're able to be able to desire to take heed to their song different than their vast hits to be an incredible fan of the band. yet right this is the biggest element...the comparable may well be utilized to metalers, indie nerds, and undergrounders. The behaviors are very almost the comparable.

Neither of my parents listen to music very much. Funny thing is that I listen to music from their days a lot. So I actually know more about that music than they do.

My parents had dreadful taste. I had to go to a music school just to overcome those early influences.
