I need to render a wall to match another existing wall next to it.?

Question

It has a slight 'stippled' effect, sort of rough to touch.

How do I achieve this? I have only ever rendered to smooth finish before. Its not a very big area so the cheaper, the better.

I wish you could just "copy and paste", but it won't work.

If you try to match the stipple, it's always difficult.

I would suggest that you use a heavier stipple and do both walls to match. I presume that you plan to repaint anyway.

I've never been able to match an old stipple.
